The US has a Plan B.
If it's not possible to paper over the vast multi-trillion dollar looting that took place during the changing of the guard (Bush to Obama), then the US will be ready with an iron fist for its own people. Battle hardened troops are in place in the US being trained to "deal" with disgruntled Americans - in a "non-lethal" way of course.
